2020 Toyota Star Maker Sammy White releases the single Home (Feels Like You) to media and streaming services today, Friday October 2. It is the fourth single lifted from Sammy's Toyota Star Maker album Undone to be released November 13. The album is available now for pre order and pre save on digital platforms.

“I grew up on my nan and pop’s hobby farm just north of Townsville city. Between the five of us, with my mum and older brother, we didn’t have a lot, but always made do. To this day, poppy is still one of my favourite people. When I’m home, I spend at least half my time with him. Unfortunately nan passed in 2017. Her paintings coat the walls of our house and make it feel that little bit less empty. She was my number one fan (biased granny’s always are, right?). She really was something.

"I penned this song with Jarred Taylor back in 2018, shortly after losing Nan. I’ve always been an “emotionally fuelled” writer. When we sat down for this write, it was the perfect pairing and timing, and the song just flowed out,” Sammy said.

In January 2020, Sammy White became the 41st winner of Star Maker joining a very elite club whose alumni include Keith Urban, Lee Kernaghan, Travis Collins and Sam McClymont and recent winners Brad Cox and Blake O’Connor.

Despite the challenges of COVID-19, Sammy 'turned lemons into lemonade' remaining positive and focused, continuing to song write, finalising her Star Maker album, and preparing in readiness to tour again.

Undone includes the singles Drowning My Sorrows, I Can’t Outrun You, Lay It On Me and Home (Feels Like You).

Sammy White is an honest writer, who draws inspiration from her life experiences. Her debut album, Undone is exactly that. It’s a combination of stories set to music - a listening diary 24 months in the making, with a team spread across two countries. Undone is an “all in” album which perfectly captures those years, now frozen in time.
